The ‘Kolara’ Kannada film based on ‘Real Rumors’ audio was released at the Bell Hotel in a huge hall with huge turnout. Perhaps so much of crowd was not seen before.

Challenging star Darshan arrived to release the audio CD of the film and received good applaud for his image. The film based on Kolar criminal ‘Thangam’ – audio release had two divergent opinions. The rowdy who ruled from 1990 to 1997 Thangam is the subject for debutant director Arya Mahesh M. It is ‘Chinnada Neladalli Rakthadokuli’.

In his address challenging star Darshan wished good luck and appreciated the putting on weight by Yogish who is playing the real story character in this film. Darshan looking at cameraman Darshan Kanaka recalled an incident on the set. He told the cameraman either he has to change his name or he would change his name. That’s how he added Kanaka to his name. I have seen him growing said DArshan. Waving at the huge crowd Darshan all Kannada films should do well.

Producer Lakshminarayana Gowda and Ramesh R took a look at the beginning and shaping up of the film. Gowda growing from scratch to make a few crores of rupees cinema ‘Kolara’ said he was auto and taxi driver. He invited his mother on stage and garlanded her. From young age I was dreaming big but I had no money to meet it he pointed.

The sub inspector then and ACP today Shivakumar who gunned down ‘Thangam’ explained in detail the ‘Mini Veerappan’ style of work of ‘Thangam’ and how he pierced eight bullets to his body after several times escape by Thangam.

The mother Thangam Smt Pauli aged woman was also present at the same event. She spoke after ACP Shivakumar had left the spot. According to her it is ‘Poi Police’ – out of six sons four have been gunned down. My children have not done anything. They have taken money to finish off my son. They had even beaten me for no mistake. They are liars she screamed and cried at the huge attendance.

Responding to these two divergent views director Arya Mahesh pointed that he has made enough research on ‘Thangam’ life and arrived at the concept for this ‘Kolara’. I have taken both the views. I have not hurt anyone sentiments through this film. Thangam mother used to be on the spot to explain the situations. I can understand the loss of children he stated. Kolars is a land of Gold. I have shown the golden heart of the people and not put down anyone he added.

Music director Hemanth Kumar BR scored six songs for this film explained the situations and singers contributing for it.

Kodihalli Chandrasekhar released the teaser of the film. A farmer leader Chandrasekhar has also appeared in a small role in this ‘Kolara’.

This is very special film in my career. When I was without job for two years this offer came. I wanted to do ‘Batsman’ with Mahesh but this one turned up for me. I have prepared to perform in this film. It is not ‘Baredirodu but Nadedirodu’. There was difficulty in doing this film observed Yogish hero of the film who is in ‘Thangam’ role.

Naina Server heroine of the film said it is her third film. She had put 200 percent effort for this film. Working with Yogi who is very cooperative and realities of life are seen in this film. I am throughout with three songs participation mentioned Naina Server.
